How to play Rocket League Sideswipe on PC?

In this guide, I will show you how to download Rocket League Sideswipe on PC. Unlike most other sites, you won't get a nice black screen here! Currently, some emulators are not compatible to play RL Sideswipe on PC. We will thus use here BlueStacks or Nox Player which allow to play it. Install an Android emulator for RL Sideswipe on PC

First of all, as said above, you need to install an emulator on your computer in order to play RL Sideswipe on PC. You have 2 choices of emulator: BlueStacks or Nox Player. We advise you BlueStacks because it is currently the best emulator of the market but it is also compatible with Mac Os.

Install the BlueStacks emulator for RLSS

To download the BlueStacks emulator and Rocket League Sideswipe on your PC, go to this download page and click on the "Play Rocket League Sideswipe on PC" button.

Just install the .exe like any other software. Once the Android engine is running, BlueStacks will tell you that the graphics settings need to be updated. Reboot and then connect your Google account to Google Play. If you're experiencing latency issues, go to our guide to optimizing BlueStacks. If all is well, now go straight to the installation part from the Google Play Store after Nox Player.

Note that if you already have BlueStacks on your computer and you do not install it again, a black screen will probably be present. In this case, simply update the emulator.

Install the Nox Player emulator for RLSS

If you prefer Nox Player or already have this emulator installed, here are the steps to follow (a little more complex than with BlueStacks). Go to this download page and click on the button for the optimized version of Rocket League SideSwipe.

Once the .exe (quite heavy) is downloaded, install it like any other software. Once the emulator is installed, you need to check that you are on Android version 9. To do this, launch Nox Multi-instance (in the Nox sidebar or search for it on your PC).

If your instance version is Android 9(64bit), then you don't have to do anything. If you are on Android 7 32 or 64bit, then click on Add emulator then Android 9 - 64bit.

Then, all that's left to do is launch theAndroid 9 instance. Once on the emulator, go to the Google Play and connect your Google account.

Once the emulator is installed, go to Google Play and search for Rocket League Sideswipe (as on your phone). Then simply click Install to download RL Sideswipe to your PC.
