The gadgets in mo.co are an integral part of your build, but not all are created equal. In thismo.co gadget tier list, I'd like to tell you more about which items are really effective and which ones you should avoid. Incidentally, we've already prepared a mo.co weapon tier list, as well as a tier list of passives (coming soon)!
We've classified the Splash Heal as a C-tier gadget because it has a long cooldown of 16 seconds and is only used in team play. It heals only and does no damage to monsters.
Super Loud Whistle
This gadget is one of the worst in our mo.co gadget tier list, simply because it can only be used by tanks with a defensive build, as the Super Loud Whistle aggroes monsters towards you.
Revitalizing Mist
Instantly heals the player or a nearby team mate with the lowest HP. The only advantage of this gadget is its 8-second cooldown.
B Tier
Pepper Spray
I recommend this B-Tier gadget for crowd control, as it slows down enemies in a cone-shaped area in front of the player. On the other hand, the Pepper Spray is not effective in monocible combat and has a fairly long cooldown of 14 seconds.
Really Cool Sticker
This gadget boosts your DPS for 5 seconds. I'd recommend pairing it with a weapon that hits or fires quickly, otherwise the sticker won't do you any good. Clearly not the best in our mo.co gadget tier list!
Shelldon
Summons a companion for 30 seconds. Shelldon is aggressive and attacks monsters, giving you a DPS boost. However, it has a particularly long cooldown of 30 seconds.
Explosive 6 Pack
When you jump, you can drop aerial bombs that inflict AoE damage as they fall. You do need to know how to use it, but this item in our mo.co gadget tier list allows you to avoid certain monsters while inflicting damage.
A Tier
Boombox
A gadget that generates a 360° bombardment wave and stuns enemies (excluding bosses). I recommend it for crowd control and to complement a weapon that doesn 't have AoE. On the other hand, this gadget isn't very useful against bosses and requires you to be in close combat. It's a very good A-tier gadget, with a cooldown of 12 seconds.
Life Jacket
If you're just starting out or if you've chosen a very offensive build, equipping Life Jacket can protect you but also inflict heavy AoE damage when it deactivates. Well-rated in this mo.co gadget tier list, it makes you invincible for a few moments, stuns and makes monsters retreat. However, this gadget doesn't last long.
Monster Taser
Like Boombox, I wouldn't recommend the Monster Taser against bosses. On the other hand, it's very effective for stun and in one-on-one battles, where it generates a lot of damage. The Monster Taser also has the advantage of a very short cooldown of 5 seconds.
Multi Zapper
Throws 12 'zaps' at the monsters around the player, and each zap hits 3 random monsters, making it a really useful addition to our mo.co gadget tier list. Incidentally, Multi Zapper can also stun enemies. I'd advise you to use it in monocible too, to inflict maximum DPS.
S Tier
Snow Globe
One of the best in our mo.co gadget tier list, but be warned: you'll have to grind before you can get it. Once you've equipped it, it will do massive AoE damage for 5 seconds in an 8m circle. In fact, it's the gadget with the highest DPS.
Vitamin Shot
Clearly one of the best gadgets in the game, especially in the early game. Thanks to the Vitamin Shot, you'll be able to boost your DPS and heal both yourself and your companions. If your build is DPS-oriented, don't miss out on one of mo.co's best gadgets.
Smart Fireworks
This tier-S gadget clearly deserves its place in our mo.co gadget tier list, as it's one of the most effective. It can target up to 5 monsters around the player and can do significant AoE damage, making it perfect for remote crowd control. It's also one of the gadgets you'll get from the start of the game. However, its cooldown is 20 seconds.
Thanks to our mo.co gadget tier list, you'll now know which items to prioritise according to your build, and which ones to avoid. And to help you progress in the game, you can also check out our other tier lists!
Platypousse
In between boss battles on Bloodborne or Dark Souls III, our editor-in-chief Platypousse likes to look after her plants and watch an episode of Moomins under a blanket.
