How to get different shields in Monopoly GO?

How to get Monopoly GO shields?

In Monopoly GO, you have to roll dice to move around your game boards. If you take a good look at the boards, you'll notice that some of the squares have a shield-shaped design. What does this mean? Quite simply, if you land on one of these squares as you progress, you win a shield. This is the only way to get Monopoly GO shields.

So every time you land on a shields tile, you'll get one. The maximum capacity is three shields. So you can't collect more than that. If you land on one of these tiles having reached the maximum number of shields you can have, it becomes an extra roll of the dice. What are shields used for in MOGO?
