The reason Caviar is so difficult to obtain is that is requires a lot of steps, some of which are time-specific, and like most things in the game, it's left for the player to figure out how to get it done. However, we're here to help and here's how you can get your hands on some Caviar.

1. Catch a Sturgeon for the how to get caviar in Stardew Valley quest - This is a rare fish that can only be caught in the Mountain Lake during summer and winter. The chance of catching it is quite low, although if you wait for a rainy day, it becomes a little more likely.
