Since 25 May 2021 and to everyone's delight, all the evolutions ofEevee are available in-game, with the addition of Sylveon. The Pokémon canid can thus transform itself according to its training into :

• Vaporeon (Water): better attacks, Water Gun/Hydro Pump
• Jolteon (Electric): Better attacks, Lightning Change/Fatal Lightning
• Flareon (Fire): Better attacks, Flame Dance/Deflagration. Overheat is also viable but decreases in effectiveness during combat
• Espeon (Psy): better attacks, Mental Shock/Awareness
• Umbreon (Darkness): Better attacks, Feinting/Trickery
• Leafeon (Plant): best attacks, Tranche'Herbe/Sun Thrower
• Glaceon (Ice): Better attacks, Ice Blast/Avalanche
• Sylveon (Fairy): better attacks, Charm/Dazzling Gleam

The nickname method for obtaining the different developments ofEevee

To get the different evolutions, you usually have to use some special procedures. But Niantic in its generosity allows us to cheat once per evolution with the nickname method. Simply rename theEevee in your inventory and give it 25 candies Eevee.

• Vaporeon : nickname Rainer
• Voltaly : nickname Sparky
• Flareon : nickname Pyro
• Espeon : nickname Sakura
• Umbreon : nickname Tamao
• Leafeon : nickname Linnea
• Glaceon : nickname Rea
• Sylveon : nickname Kira

The classic techniques for triggeringEevee

Once the nickname technique has been used once, you will have to use the classic technique to be sure to get the Eevee evolution of your choice. Be careful, even if we talk about the classic technique, the evolutions have different constraints.

• Espeon and Umbreon : select your Eevee as a Pokémon buddy, walk at least 10 kilometres and give him the 25 sweets to make him grow. During the day he will become a Espeon. But when it is night time he will evolve into Umbreon.
• Leafeon and Glaceon: for these evolutions Eevee of the fourth generation you will need to obtain special lures. By evolving a Eevee near an Ice Lure it will become a Glaceon. To get Flareon, Vaporeon or Jolteon, there is no particular technique other than nicknames. You will have to rely on your luck to evolve Eevee into one of them without renaming it.

The best time to bring about the evolution of a Eevee

Like all other Pokémon, Eevee obeys the same power calculation rules. Its strength in CP depends on the player's level. Moreover, the level of advancement of a Pokémon (white bar) is kept at the time of the evolution. To obtain a powerful evolution, select a powerful Eevee . So there is no need to rush to evolve the first Eevee you have on hand. 😜

The most powerfulEevee evolution in Pokémon Go

We're not going to lie, the question is far from clear-cut. But, beyond tastes, if we look at the statistics, some developments seem more powerful than others.

• The most CP, Espeon: to look good and show off in front of your friends, the Psy-type evolution will have the biggest number. This evolution also has the best attack stats.
• The most defensive, Umbreon : this Pokémon is the most resistant in defence.
• The most stamina, Vaporeon : this Pokémon will be able to use special attacks most often.
