Just got your first legendary card and want to play it immediately? Don't panic, we tell you everything in this Clash Royale Miner guide. Let's take a look at the strengths and weaknesses of this card as well as our tips and tricks for using it in a powerful deck.
The strengths and weaknesses of Clash Royale Miner
In Clash Royale, Miner is a legendary card that can be unlocked from arena 4 onwards. It costs 3 units of Elixir. Armed with his shovel, Miner targets a single unit and only on the ground, once every 1.2 seconds.
But its strong point lies in its movements. Indeed, Miner can be sent anywhere on the field. It was the first card to have this attribute. Where Goblin Barrel goes through the air, Miner digs a tunnel in the ground to reach its destination.
It has the advantage of having a decent amount of hit points and can therefore also be used as a diversion to allow units to reach the tower without being targeted by it. Its only drawback is that its damage is reduced when it attacks arena towers or the King's tower.
How to play Miner?
Many Clash Royale Miner decks exist. It is a very versatile card that can get you out of many situations for a reasonable Elixir cost.
In attack, Miner is very efficient against buildings, like Inferno Tower or X-Bow for example, but also to reach the Princess if she is protected by a tank. It is a card that cannot be used alone. Combine it with a tank to maximize its damage or use it to occupy your opponent's defense while your other units attack.
If you are facing a Minor, the Mini P.E.K.K.A. seems to be the best defensive alternative. In addition to attracting his attention, it can eliminate him in only 2 hits. Aerial units such as Bats, Baby Dragon or Mega Minion will have the advantage of not being targeted by the Miner. Finally, Skeleton Army can be an option, if you know that your opponent has no more Elixir, as he will be overwhelmed by the number of targets.
The best Clash Royale deck with the Minor
In order to make the most of Clash Royale Miner's strengths, the choice of cards surrounding it will be paramount. Here, the main combo will be based on the combination of Ice Golem, Lava Hound and Miner. Ice Golem will act as a ground tank. It costs only 2 units of Elixir and has a lot of health points.
Lava Hound must be sent before Miner to tank the tower's hits while Miner is dealing damage. However, when Lava Hound is defeated, Miner will take aggro, leaving the Lava Rockets to do damage. Balloon can also be used as a combo with a tank or with Miner to get to the tower. In addition to its standard damage, it will drop a bomb when it dies.
On the small unit side, we have the Goblin Barrel to send directly behind the opponent's tower and Skeleton Army to temporize a tank or force the opponent to use its spells. Finally, the last card in our deck is Fireball and Zap spells, which will be useful for both attack and defence.
If you want a low Elixir cost deck, we recommend the best Arena 6 deck. It is very efficient thanks to its small units that will allow you to cycle your cards quickly and thus place your Miner many times.
That's it for this Clash Royale Miner guide. This card is not the easiest to play, but used intelligently, it can wreak havoc. For more tips and tricks on decks and cards, I direct you to our Clash Royale page.
