Looking for an effective card for both defense and offense? Discover the solution in our Clash Royale Barbarians guide. Thanks to our tips and tricks, learn how to play them efficiently and in which deck to integrate them to win trophies and move on to higher arenas.
Barbarians strengths and weaknesses
Clash Royale Barbarians card is available from Arena 3: Barbarians Arena. This is a common card that costs 5 Elixir units. It deploys five barbarians that target land units and buildings at a short melee range of 0.8 squares every 1.4 seconds.
Their damage and hit points are intermediate, but they can be formidable when used together. The strength of the Barbarians lies in their numbers, which give them an advantage against a unit single-target. Nevertheless, their amount of hit points does not allow them to resist for very long if they are well defended.
How to play Clash Royale with the Barbarians?
In your Clash Royale games, Barbarians are useful in attack to put pressure on your opponent. They are especially effective against the Tower of Hell and do a lot of damage to enemy towers if they all reach their destination.
On defense, Barbarians can stall or destroy enemy tanks before they reach your turn, and possibly launch a counterattack if your opponent makes the mistake of using a Hog Rider, Golem or Giant.
Barbarians work well in synergy with Minions or Minion Horde, but this combo is extremely vulnerable to area damage.
By the way, to counter your opponent's Barbarians, opt for area damage or air units, which makes the Baby Dragon a very good solution. A well-placed Fireball can also eliminate them in one hit for 1 less Elixir.
The best Clash Royale Barbarians deck
This best Clash Royale Barbarians deck has two special features. First, it is an expensive deck in Elixir, with an average of 5.4. Secondly, it does not have any spells in it. So you have to make the right decisions to avoid being left defenseless against an enemy assault.
As we saw earlier, Barbarians can be quickly countered by your opponent. To avoid this, place the Golem in front of them to take the blows of the towers and give them time to do maximum damage.
To support these two maps, send the Minions or the Minionhorde to attack from the air, the Elite Barbarians on the ground, and the Three Musketeers to attack from the rear.
Since the cards in this Clash Royale Barbarians deck are expensive, generate extra Elixir by placing your Elixir Extractor in a corner behind one of your towers. Finally, we have the Mirror, which allows you to re-summon the last card played for an extra unit of Elixir. Use it preferably with Elite Barbarians or Minion Horde.
That concludes our Clash Royale Barbarians guide. Now you know how to play this card and the best deck to win the most victories. For more decks and card guides, I'll direct you to our Clash Royale tips page.
