Requirements for changing your name

Before you can change your name for free in Clash Royale, you will need to reach level 4 King to unlock a free nickname change. If you have not yet reached this level, you have two options.

Take part in new battles to win rewardsand improve your cards, which will also allow you to increase the level of your King.

But if you really want to change your name immediately, you can do so with gems. Be careful though, because the cost in gems will increase every time you decide to change name in Clash Royale.

Steps to change Clash Royale name

In Clash Royale, to change your nickname, go to the Fight tab, symbolised at the bottom of the screen by a red and a blue sword crossing each other. In the top right-hand menu, select Settings and then Change Name (your Clash Royale account name visible). Now enter your new nickname and confirm.

However, be careful, because if you make a mistake, you will have to wait a minimum of 6 hours to change your CR account name again. Also be careful not to choose an offensive or inappropriate name. Otherwise, the Supercell teams will change it as they wish. And, if you have spent gems on this name change, you will not be refunded. Now all you have to do is put your Clash Royale name in colour!
