Black Beacon characters: the complete tier list (April 2025)

C Tier

Enki

Enki is a C Tier water debuffer who can inflict constant DPS and specialises in crowd control. Unfortunately, his damage (including that of his ulti) is too low to really help you in combat. Choose other Black Beacon characters for DPS.

Shamash

This is a tank / light DPS. We don't recommend it, as it's quite slow. You'll find much better tanks in the game.

Wushi

This is a darkness DPS, capable of boosting its AoE damage. However, Wushi is one of the most difficult Black Beacon characters to master and must be complemented by Ereshan, who also inflicts AoE damage.

B Tier

Nanna

This is a B Tier DPS of the AoE darkness type , capable of creating spatial distortions with her blades. She inflicts decent damage, although there are better DPS Black Beacon characters.

Xin

This is an explosion-type lightning DPS. Xin has the advantage of being very fast and can therefore replace Li Chi if you haven't unlocked her yet. But be warned, Xin's use is limited and you'll have to rely on combos to get the most out of it. Clearly not one of the best Black Beacon characters tier list.

A Tier

Li Chi

This is a very powerful A tier lightning DPS berserker , probably one of the best DPS Black Beacon characters. But be warned: to use his abilities, he has to sacrifice HP. If you're planning to use him, don't forget to include a healer in your team, such as Logos or Asti.

Logos

She's a healer / light DPS, able to heal herself and other Black Beacon characters thanks to a passive ability.

Ereshan

She' s a darkness DPS capable of inflicting AoE damage in single-target mode. She can also teleport, which is very interesting and offsets her lack of DPS. Her elemental anomaly nevertheless allows her to inflict decent damage. But to get the most out of her, you'll need to upgrade her to the max, unlike other Black Beacon characters.

Ming

This is a fire AoE DPS that will find a place in many teams, as she's quite flexible. As well as inflicting elemental damage herself, Ming can also buffer the next character with a cloak of fire that will do damage to enemies.

Asti

Asti is a water healer that you'll really appreciate if you add her to your team. As well as healing Black Beacon characters with her umbrella, she can also generate AoE damage, which makes her even more interesting.

Viola

This secondary AoE DPS is a lightning-type. Her ultimate allows her to generate two electric nets that inflict damage on enemies. She could be an indispensable member of your team!

S Tier

Zero

We're now tackling the S Tier Black Beacon characters, the best on this tier list! Zero is a support unit that can increase the damage of other team members by 50% for 20 seconds, which is really enormous. The other good news? The resources to improve it are distributed free of charge by the game as you progress.

Ninsar

She's a hybrid darkness character: in the early game, she protects the other Black Beacon characters with her shield. But when you upgrade her, Ninsar becomes super-powerful, providing support and DPS for the team. Her ultimate ability sweeps away bosses, which is why you absolutely must add her to your team.

Florence

This fire-type character is the most powerful DPS in the game. What's more, she's very easy to learn, even for new players. Florence inflicts AoE damage and I'd advise you to upgrade her thoroughly to make her super-powerful.

Azi

Azi is a Darkness debuffer, capable of reducing the damage resistance of monsters for 20 seconds, which can be a game-changer in battle. Azi is one of the essential Black Beacon characters, as she'll allow your carry to shine against enemies.

Hephae

Let's finish off with a fire-type support, Hephae, who synergises perfectly with Florence. Thanks to her, you'll be able to reduce the damage taken by the other Black Beacon characters, as well as boosting their attacks.
