Warzone Mobile trailer unveiled during COD Next

During the COD Next, the big mass of Call of Duty, Activision has unveiled the first Warzone Mobile trailer. Let's discover together the announcement of the Battle Royale mobile port of the Call of Duty license, with confirmations of the previous leaks and a lot of new information about the game.

Released during COD Next, the Warzone Mobile trailer shows us a game that is similar in every way to the first version of Call of Duty Warzone, which will be released in 2020 on consoles and PC.

The games will take place on the Verdansk map, as we already knew since the alpha leaks in June, when the game was still called Project Aurora. You will find all the mechanics that made the success of the game, like the gulag or the stores.

Graphically, the Warzone Mobile trailer promises a high level of graphic quality for such a large map and with so many players. Indeed, the battle royale games will host 120 players, and according to Chris Plummer (COD's mobile division director), no bot will be present to spoil your game experience.

Cross-progression with Warzone 2.0 and pre-registrations opening

Although we don't have all the details yet, Warzone Mobile progression will be linked to your progression in Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, on consoles and PC. For now, all we know is that the Battle Pass and the friends list will be shared, but there are still some mysteries regarding weapons and their equipment.

Regarding the release date, we have to be content with an indication of next year in speech. However, the Warzone Mobile trailer invites us to pre-register now on the Google Play Store, and therefore only for Android devices. Different rewards will be unlocked depending on the number of pre-registrations, like weapons or a secret skin if the 25 million pre-registered players are reached.
