Summoners War releases a comic book: Summoners War Legacy

Summoners War has made an announcement that will surely delight its entire community: a comic book is in preparation ! This news, which was not necessarily expected, will offer the possibility to learn more about the universe of the famous RPG.
Com2uS, the Korean developer, is not launching the project alone and will be able to count on Skybound. This American company is notably behind the comic books The Walking Dead, Outcast and Oblivion Song. Summoners Wars Legacy looks promising and we can't wait to discover the result. If the game has nothing left to prove, it has no interest in disappointing its community either!

Summoners War Legacy: a comic book spin-off

We don't know all the details about this comic book project yet. We don't want to be totally spoiled anyway. All we know is that Summoners War Legacy will take place 35 years before the game's original elements.
This comic book will offer the possibility to discover new characters such as Abuus, Rai and Thomas. We will also learn more about the history of Alea and the formation of this land. For those who wonder about Durand's parents, Summoners War Legacy will also provide some answers.

This new experiment will continue for 40 pages. It's a bit of a risk, but we can assume that if the reception is good, other projects of the same kind could follow! Until August 31st, you can pre-order Summoners War Legacy on the official website and choose your cover according to your favourite side.
The comic costs 8,95 euros and Skybound will not start shipping until September. For us European customers, it will take about 15 days to receive the book.

A guaranteed success?

Video game fans are often passionate about learning more about the world of their favourite games. They are not the last to buy derivative products of all kinds and generally respond when there are adaptations. Examples include the Warcraft movie or the recent Netflix series The Witcher.
