Remind Online, does that ring a bell? Yes, that good old MMORPG released in 2006 on PC. Well, today it's back under the name of Rappelz Online Mobile. Moreover, this port to Android and iOS is developed by Gala Lab, which intends to honour the title.
Remakes of old RPG or MMO games are all the rage, you know it as well as we do. There are almost too many remakes compared to the new ones coming out, as if we were only able to resell our old hits. But let's get back to our main news. nFlavor and GalaNet made the PC version of Rappelz 15 years ago. So what can we expect from this licence today, in a revisited version?
I let you discover the trailer of Rappelz Online Mobile.
No more gender lock, no more VIP system and no more awful auto-play. These are the promises of Rappelz M. Instead, players will be treated to a classic and complete MMO system. They will be able to play as a character of one of three races: Gaia, Deva or Asura. They will then have to choose from four class archetypes to complete their Rappelz Online Mobile character. Not much more is known about the game's pets, dungeons, exploration or PvP at this time. However, pre-registration for Rappelz M on Android and iOS is already open. To pre-register, simply visit the shops.
As stated on the game's Facebook page, the Rappelz PC servers closed on June 1, 2021. This event marks the beginning of a new era for the license. And hopefully it will also mark the return of Rappelz Online, an excellent MMO. By the way, Aion 2 on mobile should be released next year.
