Pikmin in Augmented Reality in a mobile game

After integrating the Pokémon into reality through our phones, Nintendo is now going to do the same thing with other little monsters... Thus, players will soon have the opportunity to discover an Augmented Reality Pikmin game. For this new project, Nintendo has naturally turned to Niantic, with whom the successful game Pokémon GO was designed. It's hard to imagine Pikmin being as successful as their predecessors, especially in this period when curfews and confinement are in fashion... At the moment, there is not much certainty about this proposed mobile Pikmin Augmented Reality game. To date, Nintendo and Niantic have not communicated on the official title of the game or a release date. There is also no gameplay video available...

All we know is that the aim is to "make walking more fun", especially for young people. It will probably be necessary to explore the surroundings to find and collect these multicoloured hybrid beings. However, the mechanics of camp building and resource harvesting remain unclear at this point. While the game promises to offer a different experience from traditional games, it remains to be seen whether it can live up to this.
