Brawl Stars: 2 new Brawlers, Byron and Edgar, coming soon

Christmas is coming with a lot of presents. The mobile game Brawl Stars will not be outdone and will also have a lot of surprises in store for its community. In their December Brawl Talk video, the developers shared a number of new features that should put a smile on players' faces. The biggest one is surely the arrival of two new Brawlers: Byron (support character) and Edgar (melee fighter). We don't know all their stats yet, but they promise even more strategic diversity.

In addition to these two newcomers, there is also the year-end event Brawlidays. Like an advent calendar, it will offer rewards to be collected daily to wait until December 25th. Another event is also planned for January, but we haven't got the details yet and we'll have to wait and see.

Who are Byron and Edgar the two new Brawlers?

There are already a plethora of Brawlers in Brawl Stars (over forty). The competition is fierce and not all of them manage to win the hearts of the fans or to make a place for themselves in the metagame. However, Byron and Edgar, the two new Brawlers, are hoping to shake things up and are not just here to make up the numbers. Here's what we know about them so far:

• Byron : the third member of the trio he forms with Piper and Barley. He has the appearance of an old man, but beware! He's resourceful and will be a great addition to the group. This support character heals and boosts his allies while inflicting damage on enemies over time.
• Edgar : An epic rarity, Edgar is usually in the shop as a salesman. But he decided to step out of his comfort zone to give some people a hard time on the battlefield. He doesn't have many hit points, but can heal himself. He has great agility and can jump over obstacles like Daryl.

Two Brawl Stars events

The developers didn't just talk about Brawlers Byron and Edgar in their video. They also highlighted two events that are expected to enliven the life of the larger community.

• Brawlidays : The event is already underway and will end on December 24th, Christmas Eve. Every day, players must log in to claim a reward! Please note: rewards that are not collected are lost forever.
• duo showdown challenge: planned for January, this duel event will allow to win the skin Warrior Bo.
