Monument Valley 3 release date finally announced on Netflix Games!

If you've been following the announcements at Gamescom's Opening Night Live, you won't have missed this news: the Monument Valley 3 release date has been announced, and it's set for 10 December 2024... on Netflix Games! While the first instalments were available on stores for a few euros, you'll now need a subscription to the streaming platform to enjoy them. A bit of a shame... But what does Monument Valley 3 have in store for us?

UsTwo reveals the Monument Valley 3 release date, a sequel that could surprise us all

We told you back then that Monument Valley 3 was in development. We had to wait more than 4 years to see the game hit the stores, and not just any game, as it will be a Netflix exclusive. At Gamescom, good old Geoff Keighley unveiled the game's trailer, giving us a glimpse of new environments. The presentation concluded with the Monument Valley 3 release date.

In Monument Valley 3, it seems that UsTwo has once again decided to surprise us, because this time, in addition to the visual puzzles that the studio has mastered perfectly and the duo of characters that you will be asked to control, several biomes can be explored: a rather hostile sea, the playground of a giant goldfish, the meanders of a river or a savannah-like environment. And, of course, there are puzzles to solve along the way.

It's as beautiful and poetic as ever, and it's a safe bet that the mazes inspired by Escher's paintings will give us just as much trouble as ever.

As well as the Monument Valley 3 release date, we've also learned that the first two instalments in the series will soon be available on Netflix. Monument Valley 1 arrives on 19 September, while the second instalment will join the catalogue on 29 October.

It's the perfect opportunity for those who have missed out to immerse themselves in the trompe l'oeil geometric architecture of the buildings and the unique atmosphere of the series.
