Mobile release of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night mobile release

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been waiting patiently for its mobile release. This side-scrolling exploration RPG first appeared on PC and consoles. More than a year later, it is finally being adapted for mobile to bring this epic medieval-fantasy adventure to even more players. It is a "Metroidvania" game in which players can explore interconnected maps provided they have unlocked specific portals. Do you think this RPG has a false air of the famous Castlevania ? You're on the right track, as Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was developed by Koji Igarashi. Igarashi is a former Konami producer who worked on the Castlevania saga for almost 10 years. He describes his new work as a spiritual heir.

The mobile release of Bloodstained should not only appeal to long-time fans, however. The game promises to be particularly complete with a long life expectancy. Ideal for passing the time and enjoying the immersive atmosphere.

Save humanity from your mobile

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night takes place in a rather dark, even disturbing atmosphere. The story takes place during the English industrial revolution and follows the difficult life of Miriam. This young orphan has been cursed as a child by evil alchemists and her blood threatens to crystallise at any moment. With the world in danger from these alchemists, she must fight them in their monster-infested lair. There she will find a solution to save humanity and herself.

Bloodstained mobile release: a condensed version?

The mobile version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will carry on the main plot of the basic version, but will have several differences. First and foremost is the price. On Steam, the game still costs 39.99 euros, an unimaginable sum for a mobile player. On iOS and Android, you'll have to spend "only" 9.99 euros, which is still relatively substantial for a market used to free-to-play. But Bloodstained has no microtransactions, so all in all, our wallets should stay in shape. For this price, the story is necessarily a bit condensed. But there will still be enough to enjoy. On the program, 120 monsters and bosses, 107 weapons and 23 weapon skills make the trip from the initial version.

The gameplay has also been adapted to the mobile medium. The game intelligently exploits thetouch screen and brings even more dynamism to the fight to use items, perform combos or change weapons.
