In this recap #195, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we round up all the week's mobile games news! On the programme: the release of mo.co by invitation, the release date of Once Human revealed and news of Azur Promilia.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Mo.co, Supercell's monster-hunting game, is entering soft launch, with invitations sent out to testers on Play Store and App Store. Its gameplay is based on intensive farming and cooperation against gigantic mobs.
  • Avatar Legends: Realms Collide is now available as a free-to-play game on Play Store and App Store, following early access in the Philippines. This 4X game lets you build your city, form an army of elemental masters and conquer the battlefield.
  • Pocket Hockey Stars invites you to fast and furious 3v3 PvP matches on ice, with unlockable skills and varied arenas. The game is free and already available on Play Store and App Store.
  • Mecha Fire puts you in charge of a Martian colony to defend against the Swarm, with strategy and resource management mechanics. Available on Play Store and App Store, the game also offers PvP and cooperative interactions.

The week's releases continue with Birds Camp, which is available for free on Play Store and App Store, with simple, colourful tower defence gameplay featuring cartoon birds. And finally, Epic Games Store Mobile is offering Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist for free this week.

Pre-registration, announcements, updates and testing phases

  • Spirit Crossing is a cozy MMO developed by Spry Fox and published by Netflix, focusing on community, exploration and construction in an airy, colourful universe. Registration for the closed alpha playtest is now open, but you will need a Netflix subscription to take part.
  • Azur Promilia will launch its offline playtest in China in April 2025, in a fantasy world where you collect creatures and cast spells. Registration is open until 31 March, but the test will require physical travel to Shanghai.
  • Super Milo Adventures is opening pre-registration on Play Store for a retro pixel art platformer with auto-jump and timing challenges. The game promises cute and demanding levels, developed by an experienced metroidvania team.
  • Set A Watch will soon be arriving on Play Store and App Store, with a strategic atmosphere where you have to protect a campfire using cards and dice. The title doesn't yet have a release date, but promises some deep Inscryption-inspired mechanics.

Next up is RF Online Next , which has just been launched in Korea on PC and mobile, with massive battles and a sci-fi universe divided into three factions. No global launch has yet been announced for this MMO. Digimon Alysion, meanwhile, is preparing for launch with a TCG featuring a full story mode and strategic combat mechanics.

Regulus - The Advent is a gacha RPG autobattler in soft launch in the Philippines on Play Store and App Store, immersing players in a demonic world with strategic PvE combat. As for Bleach: Soul Resonance, it is starting its closed test in China, offering a 3D ARPG with dynamic combat.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops has confirmed its official launch for summer 2025, and Once Human will be released on Play Store and App Store on 23 April. Elsewhere Electric, a cooperative puzzle game combining VR and mobile, will be released in summer 2025.

Misfitz, a top-down extraction shooter, had a two-day playtest with 200 players. Game of Thrones Kingsroad will be available in early access on Steam from 26 March, before its Play Store and App Store release. And finally, Mushroom Escape, a Japanese puzzle game about mushrooms, will be released on Play Store and App Store on 27 March in an improved version translated into English.
