In this recap #190, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we round up all the week's mobile games news! On the agenda: Dordogne takes you back to childhood, Ubisoft's BUMP Superbrawl arrives in France, Exoloper puts you in the driver's seat of combat mechas and a whole host of other news.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on stores:

  • Dark and Darker Mobile is coming to North America. This game combines dungeon exploration, battle royale and extraction, with six unique classes to choose from. Developed by KRAFTON, it's already available for free on Play Store and App Store ahead of its global launch.
  • BUMP! Superbrawl is finally coming to Play Store and App Store. Inspired by Brawl Stars, this game from Ubisoft features 1v1 battles in four different modes. Its cute graphics and intense gameplay will appeal to fans of strategic duels.
  • Dordogne, a visually splendid tale that takes you back to your childhood memories. Available for $5 on the App Store, this game invites you to explore the memories of a memorable summer through immersive, animated tableaux.
  • Nighty Knight is inspired by Thronefall, with cartoonish tower defence gameplay. Take on 40 types of monster with 15 different heroes on Play Store.

Then there's Tetris Block Party, which reinvents the classic game with a multiplayer twist and city management elements. The game is currently in soft launch on Play Store and App Store in Brazil, India, Mexico and the Philippines. Disney Realm Breakers combines tower defence and light 4X strategy. Available free on Play Store, this game promises epic battles in familiar worlds.

Meanwhile, DC Worlds Collide is back in Switzerland, Poland and Finland on Play Store and App Store with a new editor, offering DC Comics fans the chance to put together teams of 50 heroes. For less than $2 on Play Store and App Store, Arrik and the Ruined Kingdom plunges you into a magical adventure with 35 levels and over 90 puzzles.

Exoloper is a mecha combat simulation, available from 10 February on the App Store. In first-person view, battle enemies in destructible environments. The reboot of the famous Carmen Sandiego investigation game is coming to Play Store and App Store via Netflix Games.

Neon Runners: Craft & Dash offers speedrun platforming with a variety of skills. Create your own levels and share them with the community. The game is available on Play Store and App Store as a soft launch in South-East Asia.

Beam On is a free Flappy Bird-inspired endless runner on Play Store with in-app purchase options, offering a fast and fun challenge. The Art of Fauna lets you discover the beauty of wildlife through puzzles and illustrations from the 18th and 19th centuries. The game is available for $8 on the App Store.

And finally, Hellic is a gacha RPG featuring cat girls in a cute graphic universe on Play Store and App Store. The game is currently undergoing a soft launch in South-East Asia.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and testing phases

In addition to the recent releases, we have other test announcements and pre-registrations in stock this week:

  • Mabinogi Mobile, the MMORPG inspired by Ultima Online, will be released in March. With its varied skills and modern talent tree, it promises an immersive experience despite its slightly dated graphics.
  • ReSetna lets you take control of an advanced robot in an intense metroidvania. Scheduled for release in mid-2025, this game promises hours of exploration and frantic combat.
  • Parallel Experiment puts the emphasis on cooperation, with more than 80 puzzles to solve as a duo. The Lite demo is already available on Play Store and App Store, offering a taste of this collaborative experience.
  • Is This Seat Taken? turns you into a matchmaker in a variety of social contexts. The PC demo will be released on 10 February, ahead of a planned mobile release.

For $9, Lara Croft: Guardian of Light takes you to forgotten temples from 27 February. Solve puzzles and battle enemies in isometric view, solo or in co-op. In March, The Valley of Architects will offer a narrative and puzzle experience inspired by Monument Valley.

Despite the cancellation of several games, Netflix has announced the arrival of WWE 2K in autumn 2025. Dive back into the 70s with Serial Cleaner, an infiltration game where you have to clean up crime scenes without getting caught on Play Store and App Store.
