In this week's Recap #166 bis, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we round up all the week's mobile games news! On the agenda: the release ofAce Force 2, the announcement of Need For Speed Mobile next autumn, the release of Disney Pixel RPG on 9 September and a whole host of other news.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been full of release announcements, with a number of games now available on the stores:

  • This week sees the release of Ace Force 2, Tencent's new multiplayer shooter, now available on Android. Inspired by Valorant, with cel-shaded art direction and constant 60 FPS, the game features 5v5 battles where strategy and skill are paramount.
  • Battle Star Arena has just been released on iOS. This pixel art PvP action game puts you in command of a fleet of spaceships. Manage your skills and upgrade your armada to take on enemies across the galaxy, both online and offline.
  • Royal Card Clash was released this week and offers a twist on classic Solitaire, with VPs to beat on each card and cartoon graphics. Available for £3 on Android and iOS, this original card game will put your neurons to the test.
  • Jib Games' MMO Polity is now available on Android and iOS. This flat-shaded social simulation game invites you to trade, collect, make and build in a colourful world.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

In addition to recent releases, we have more test announcements and pre-registrations in stock this week:

  • Spay Company has launched the alpha of Infinity Land, a new RPG available on mobile and PC. The game, heavily inspired by Genshin Impact, features a huge open world with exploration, quests, boss battles and character upgrades. Although not very original, it's well worth a look for the curious via its official website.
  • Disney Pixel RPG will be released on Android and iOS on 9 September. This pixel-art RPG lets you explore the worlds of your favourite Disney heroes, with turn-based combat and gacha mechanics.
  • Electronic Arts' Need for Speed Mobile, developed by TiMi Studio, will be launched worldwide this autumn . This open-world game will feature 40-player races and over 150 luxury cars to test drive.
  • Waven is finally available in early access on Android and iOS. This tactical deckbuilding RPG is set in a post-apocalyptic maritime universe. Test out various characters, items and spells solo or with friends, and join an already strong free-to-play community.

We continue with the closed beta of Command & Conquer Legions by Level Infinite and EA, available on Android and iOS in France, Australia, Canada, the UK, Spain and other countries. This MMORTS revisits the licence with new graphics and modern mechanics.

Other early access titles include Crisis X, available in SEA, which plunges you into a Walking Dead-style atmosphere, and the racing game Racing Kingdom, available on AndroidOrder & Chaos Guardians is also available in early access on Android in the United States, Canada and Indonesia. This fantasy RPG from Gameloft and NetEase Games features nine distinct races and improved graphics, although the game remains in the same vein as previous iterations.

Finally, we know the release date of the MMORPG Forgotten Throne, which will be out on 10 September, and Elpisoul, the semi-tactical gacha RPG, which will be available on Android and iOS on 23 July.
