Tick-tock, tick-tock... The time has been incredibly slow, but the golden boy has finally arrived. League of Legends: Wild Rift can now be launched from your mobile in France ! The phone version of the famous MOBA has everything to please and promises to be a hit. After LoL, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra and Valorant, Riot Games is starting to know the recipe for success inside out. The community should still respond, especially since with the "From Rift to Rift" event, loyal LoL players will be rewarded with skins and icons. Depending on how long they play on PC, they will unlock free gifts on LoL: Wild Rift, now available on Android and iOS! 👍
Have you already tested the game? At first glance, the interface is particularly easy to access and we have already played many games. Matchmaking is fast and the games are very dynamic. Beware, however: playing with the touch screen instead of the keyboard/mouse takes some getting used to!
A long wait for France to get its hands on Wild Rift
The game was tested for a long time in some regions of the world, before being released in several Asian countries. France was not part of the first wave, nor of the testareas... So the wait was particularly long! But now that the game is available, we can count on the French community to catch up! Hopefully it won't be as toxic in cats and its reputation won't stick to it too much.
Players will appreciate the various tutorials offered by Wild Rift. These take the time to explain in detail the principle and the different mechanics of the game. They are not at all compulsory, so you can quickly jump into the battle against other players. However, it is recommended that you do some of them, even for experienced LoL players. There are quite a few adjustments, compared to the PC version, that may surprise you.
The champions have not yet all arrived
LoL: Wild Rift and League of Legends have many things in common. First of all, both games are based on the same universe and the same characters. However, it takes time to implement the huge number of champions (over 140) in our mobiles. That's why some of them haven't made it yet. Eventually, they will all be integrated. But this will happen little by little, so we will have to be patient.
As well as the champions, the skins will also be available on the mobile version of the game. If they are purely aesthetic, we are sure that they will still find takers.
So, are you going to try this version of League of Legends on mobile?
