Mobile Legends x Stars Wars collaboration coming

When two behemoths meet, a clash is inevitable. So we advise you to sink into your chair so you don't fall over backwards. The MOBA Mobile Legends has officially announced a future collaboration with Stars Wars! The information was leaked a few weeks ago, but many thought it was a hoax. Fans now know that it is true and many are already starry-eyed! But in concrete terms, what can we expect from this Mobile Legends x Stars Wars project? Although it's hard to see Darth Vader or Chewbacca appearing in person in the arena, we can still expect a lot of winks that will delight fans.

As a reminder, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang may be less well known than the Star Wars franchise, but the MOBA remains a mobile gaming heavyweight. Released in 2016, it is extremely popular in Asia and is among the top esportgames on phones. At last count, there are 78 million regular players(Source: Business World).

Mobile Legends x Stars Wars collaboration: skins and events?

Behind the term collaboration, which is a bit of a mouthful, can hide anything and everything. But if you're an experienced Mobile Legends player, you'll think of skins inspired by the Star Wars universe. How many heroes will end up with lightsabers or stormtrooper pistols? All bets are off, and for our part, we have the secret hope of seeing an Akai-Chewbacca! If leaks are to be believed, Argus and Cyclops will be among the lucky ones. The idea should please the fans and the developers could make a little money with the upcoming micro-transactions to buy the different skins.

We can also imagine that a dedicated Star Wars themed event will be implemented in the game. There could be missions, narrative creations and why not soundtracks from the film... For the moment, the project remains relatively mysterious but there is very little chance that it will be disappointing.

Small hitch: regional limitations

This is a blow for French players. Moonton mentioned that for the moment, this collaboration was only allowed in specific regions. All these regions are in Asia (Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore...). Other territories will have access in the future, but we don't know who and especially we don't know when! Stay tuned!
