As Feral Interactive announced several weeks ago, its real-time strategy (RTS) game Company of Heroes was released yesterday on mobiles. Available on the Play Store and theApp Store for around 15 euros, the war game continues to conquer new ground. Players were already able to show their strategic skills on PC and iPad. Now they are also able to show off their skills by gaining more ground on their phones.
The port promises an adapted and improved experience compared to previous versions. The community hopes that the promised immersive historical campaign is worth the relatively high price tag for a mobile game.
Company of Heroes is out now for iPhone and Android.

Take command in some of WWII's most pivotal battles and lead the fighting from the D-Day landings to the liberation of Normandy.

Younger people may not remember it, but the game is already old. Company of Heroes is already old. Although the RTS does not date back to the Second World War, it was released 14 years ago on the PC. The development team, in order to rekindle the flame of the community, has relied on a subtle balance between tradition and novelty. The story remains broadly the same and will allow you to relive the WWII liberation campaign from the Normandy landings. The game continues to offer intense strategic battles where every decision made in real time has consequences.
However, the gameplay has been revamped to suit the profiles of today's players and the mobile medium. The controls, taking advantage of touch screens, are much more flexible and versatile. Your orders can be given even more fluidly, as if you were in the field with your troops. There are also new filters to coordinate your manoeuvres more clearly.
If some people were looking forward to the release of Company of Heroes with impatience, remember to check the compatibility of your mobile. For iOS users, all models are compatible from version 6S. For the others, it will be impossible to engage in this military campaign. Feral Interactive also has good news for those who bought the title on iPad. They can now install it on their phone at no extra cost.
