Wild Rift guilds are coming: the new club system

LoL Wild Rift Guilds

Missed the League of Legends clubs? They are back on the mobile version of LoL under the name of Wild Rift guilds. Let's discover together the specificities of these guilds, their creation cost, their advantages... You will even be able to face other players in Guild vs Guild with this 2.5 update!

Wild Rift guilds start with patch 2.5

You may have heard of LoL clubs, which were sadly lost in 2020. However, they will be back, in the form of a Wild Rift guild system. Let's take a look at what's behind the official twitter announcement...

Guilds will be available to all players who have passed level 9. Creating a guild will cost either 200 Wild Cores or 400 Poro coins. You can also join a Wild Rift guild that has already been created by one of your friends, just like with the club system.

Each guild is, according to Riot Games, "more than just a sum of players" and is an entity in its own right. Each guild has a fully customisable page, dedicated streams and unique management settings. You will be able to change their name and enter their tag (between 2 and 5 characters). Member selection criteria as well as "labels" to define the ambitions of the group will be definable. But above all, guilds are also an opportunity to share a common chat room with a shared feed where everyone can interact with emotes and chat freely.

The interest of a Wild Rift guild is also to progress together. This allows you to unlock special rewards and get bonus XP (which is never a bad thing)! The amount of rewards will depend on the level of group activity. Indeed, the additional rewards will be available depending on the Blue Essence, special points and bonus XP collected via this system.

Guild VS Guild Wild Rift and full patch

Riot Games also confirms the arrival of the GvG mode (Guild vs Guild) in which two guilds will compete to get more resources than their opponent and win nice prizes rewards. A team building experience via Wild Rift guilds, in short!

I suggest you watch the official video which covers the entire 2.5 update and the addition of a second Rift Herald, etc. For more info, check out the full patch notes published by the game's support here.

Note that it was recently learned that Veigar, Caitlyn and Jayce, in that order, will be the next to join the mobile Summoner's Rift. By the way, for those who like their gameplay comfortable, you can also play Wild Rift on the controller and customise your interface.
