Riot Games has decided to do things right. For the Sentinels of Light event that transcends its various games (LoL, LoL: Wild Rift, TFT, Legends of Runeterra), the developers will introduce Lucian and Senna in the mobile version of the MOBA. The pair are not here for laughs and will be purifying the battlefield. For the moment, the two lovebirds can breathe easy as their natural enemy Thresh is not yet in the game. But little by little, all the champions are coming into play and their never-ending battle could soon resume. Wild Rift's Senna and Lucian should be of particular interest to shooters. Although both characters are versatile, they should be found mostly in botlane.
What gameplay for Senna and Lucian Wild Rift?
The Lucian Wild Rift and Senna seem to have kept their identity. Looking at the previews, we can see that their skills remain very similar overall. Even if Senna's famous passive must have been well balanced. Since LoL: Wild Rift games are shorter than League of Legends games, she has less time to collect souls and gain power.
Lucian is a shooter who likes to dominate his lane. With his very complete profile, he can be played in botlane, mid or top. The champion is very independent and can use his mobility and range to easily get the upper hand against a melee champion. We can also add that his passive allows him to get a double attack. He then has a big burst very useful to win short trades .
Senna is also a shooter, but her profile is special. At the beginning of the game, the champion is very weak and needs time to scale. But the more time passes, the more she becomes a weapon of mass destruction. With her utility skills (healing, immobilisation, stealth...) she can also take on the role of Support.
An interactive adventure on your mobile
The Sentinels of Light event is not limited to the addition of the two Wild Rift champions Lucian and Senna on 9 July. You can also experience a real interactive adventure by going to this address. Warning: the adventure is only accessible on phone (Android or iOS). Without spoiling you, you will have the opportunity to explore an Outpost that will teach you more about the game's lore. Dark mists, enemies and sacred items await you!
As with every event, we can also expect to receive weekly missions to earn various bonuses and rewards. The skins Sentinel are also out (Pyke, Graves, Rengar).
