After ports of Fortnite, PUBG and COD, a new Battle Royale license is coming to Android and iOS with the release of Apex Legends Mobile. We give you our first impressions on the gameplay and content of this long awaited mobile adaptation.
Many of the Battle Royale to have invaded the screens of our phones. Some are original games, like Garena Free Fire, Cyber Hunter or Rules of Survival. But the leaders of the genre remain the ports of the PC and console versions of Fortnite, PUBG or soon COD Warzone Mobile, which we recently told you about for the launch of the first phase of test under the code name Project Aurora.
It is in this very competitive context that Electronic Arts has just made official the release of Apex Legends Mobile. To adapt the game as faithfully as possible, EA has called upon the same studio as for the PC and console versions: Respawn Entertainment.
This mobile port contains all the main gameplay elements that made the game a success. Alone or in teams of 3, you will have to loot before facing your opponents, using tactics and skill to be the last survivor and win.
The gameplay is very dynamic thanks to the combination of jumping, sliding and the special skills of the characters. The controls have been adapted to touch with a revamped HUD that is pleasant to use. Some features can be automated to make things easier, such as loot and shooting. As in the original game, it is possible toswitch between FPS and TPS views, or place a marker to communicate an enemy's position to your teammates or simply point to a destination.
As soon as it is released, Apex Legends Mobile offers 10 captions:
While the first 9 are from the PC and console versions, Fade is an exclusive legend unveiled for the release of Apex Legends Mobile.
Like the other characters, Fade has his own abilities. His Wake passive gives him a speed boost from a slide. Like Tracer in Overwatch, his tactical Flashback ability allows him to go backwards. Finally, his ultimate skill Phase Chamber creates a zone around him that causes any legends present to enter a state where no damage can be caused or taken.
In addition to this new hero, a new map will also be available for the arena mode. Named Spillway, it is partially covered in lava that you can use to your advantage, but be careful not to fall in.
So much for our first impressions a few hours after the release of Apex Legends Mobile. You can now download it on iOS and Android and if you want to discover other games of the genre, I invite you to consult our top of best Battle Royale on mobile.

Hello, when will apex mobile be released in Belgium?
Apex mobile will not be released in Belgium because of its lootbox system which does not respect the current regulations of the country (same thing as for Diablo Immortal for example) :/
