Raven 2 classes : complete guide

Raven 2 classes

It's hard to choose between all the Raven 2 classes! There are 8 of them, and they all have their own specific roles and abilities. We've already prepared a Raven 2 tier list for you, but here we'll go into more detail about each of them, with pros and cons. This guide will help you make your choice, depending on your level and preferred style of play.

Divine Caster, the only Raven 2 class to offer support

The Divine Caster is the only Raven 2 class to offer support to its team members. He has healing spells, as well as highly effective debuffs and buffs for greater in-game survivability.

Divine Caster, Raven 2 class moon

But that's not all, as the Divine Caster is also capable of attacking effectively, thanks largely to all the buffs he can apply to himself. But this class is above all a heal class, so don't choose it if you want to shine on the battlefield with devastating attacks.

  • ✅ The best support for Raven 2 classes
  • ❌ Less effective solo

Berserker, a melee class

The Berserker is a good melee class. What's more, it has life steal, as well as AoE damage that can help you survive on the battlefield. Its attacks are based on its strength, so it's this stat that you should build up first.

The Raven Berserker 2

Be warned, however, that the Berserker is one of the Raven 2 classes that will seem slow to play, not only because of this, but also because it has very little life, so it's not recommended for beginners.

  • ✅Good hand-to-hand damage
  • ❌ Slow and weak

Deathbringer, the summoner of Raven 2 classes

The Deathbringer is a spirit-summoning necromancer among the Raven 2 classes. Their advantage? He has incredible survivability, thanks to his highly effective kit. What's more, he can replace the Divine Caster if you don't have a healer in your team (but be warned, he'll be pretty ineffective in big battles).

The Deathbringer, one of Raven 2's classes

The Deathbringer has very good crowd control: it groups enemies in one place and, thanks to its ability to transform its attacks into AoE, this class is very effective. However, this Raven 2 class is difficult to play for players who have never tested summoners.

  • ✅Great defence and crowd control
  • ❌ Complex to play

Night Ranger, the best PvE class

If you're looking for one of the Raven 2 classes for PvE, then I'd recommend the Night Ranger. She can deliver devastating critical hits and specialises in ranged combat, as she's an archer class.

Raven's Night Ranger 2

The Night Ranger is one of the best Raven 2 classes for single-target ranged combat. However, she's a little less effective for PvP, as her kit is clearly not suited to it.

  • ✅The best class for ranged combat
  • ❌ Less effective in PvP

Vanguard, Raven 2's only tank

Looking for a tank among the Raven 2 classes? If so, choose the Vanguard. It's got great defence and can heal itself. In PvP, this is obviously a class that's highly prized by players, because it's indispensable.

LAvant-Garde, Raven 2 class moon

Unfortunately, in single-player, the Vanguard is rather slow to play and, above all, inflicts rather low levels of damage. Their role is essentially to aggro enemies.

  • ✅The only tank in the Raven 2 classes.
  • ❌ Fairly low damage

Assassin, an excellent PvP class

Looking for the best of the Raven 2 classes for PvP? Then the Assassin is definitely the one to choose. The Assassin applies powerful debuffs that are extremely useful on the battlefield. Thanks to her unique skill, which allows her to hide and then attack, she proves to be very effective.

LAssassin de Raven 2

While the Assassin is the best PvP class, it performs slightly less well in PvE. So it's not the best class for beginners.

  • ✅The best for PvP
  • ❌ Difficult to master in PvE

Elementalist, the best of the Raven 2 classes for AoE

As its name suggests, the Elementalist has different types of attack: it can freeze enemies, electrocute to silence enemies or apply DoTs with fire. As a result, it offers excellent crowd control.

Raven 2 Class Leaders

And to make it really effective, it also has a buff to regenerate its magic. On the other hand, it has a rather weak defence, which can do it a disservice in PvP.

  • ✅ Very high magic damage
  • ❌ Not easy to play in PvP.

Destroyer, for debuffs

We end this Raven 2 class guide with the Destroyer, another Archer class. The Destroyer can prevent enemies from healing themselves and has excellent mobility. It can also buffer its own attacks to increase its power.

The Raven 2 harquebus

Unfortunately, the duration of its cooldowns and its DPS level compared to other Raven 2 classes make it a fairly weak class, especially for PvP.

  • ✅Lots of interesting debuffs
  • ❌ Loses effectiveness due to its cooldowns

How to choose between the Raven 2 classes?

To choose among the Raven 2 classes, you need to take several parameters into account:

  • The style of play you like: if you enjoy ranged combat, choose the Destroyer, the Night Ranger or the Divine Caster, if you like support roles. On the other hand, if you're more at ease with hand-to-hand combat, I'd recommend the Assassin, the Berserker or the Vanguard. For the more versatile among you, the Elementalist or Deathbringer would be interesting classes.
  • Your level of play: are you a beginner? Avoid the Berserker and the Assassin. If you're just starting out in the game, I'd suggest the Night Ranger, which is very effective from a distance, or the Divine Caster.

That's it for our Raven 2 class guide. You now know which class to choose, depending on your experience of MMORPGs and your preferred play style. But don't hesitate to try out the different classes for yourself before making your final choice!
