Generally speaking, the best deck is expensive. Even if you spend 3 Wonder stamina cards several times to obtain common cards, a single favourable draw will more than make up for all your losses.
Rare Illustration cards (☆) are more widely distributed than EX cards (♢♢♢♢), so they are less rare and less interesting to draw.

Target the Pokémon cards you're looking for

In order to optimize the Pokémon TCG Pocket wonder pick, you have to target the cards you don't have. To get a better view of the cards you're interested in, you can look up a card you don't own and press the top right-hand corner of its page to save it as " Wishlist".

A heart will appear on the card, allowing you to find it more quickly among all the wonder picks. This heart will be removed as soon as the card is obtained.
