Whether you're a casual player or a seasoned veteran, there's nothing quite like scoring some quick wins with a fun Marvel Snap deck. However, with balance patches coming and going, and the meta ever-shifting, it's not always easy to stay on top of the game. That's why we've put together a complete Marvel Snap tier list, ranking the best decks of the current meta.
You'll be able to quickly find which decks are the best right now and dominate the competition!
Our Marvel Snap tier list ranks most of the popular decks in an alphabetical ranking, currently ranging from S to C tier, with the former being the best and descending to the latter. The list also features plus (+) and minus (-) on some rankings, to indicate which decks are slightly better or worse than their tier, but not quite a different tier either.
Tier S : the best decks of the Marvel Snap tier list
Tier A : the good Marvel Snap decks
Tier B : the playable Marvel Snap decks
Tier C : the Marvel Snap decks that are not worth it
There are of course other decks out there that you could create and still win games with, however, these provide the best mix of win rate and consistency. Most other decks would feature even lower on the ranking and generally wouldn't be recommended to play (unless you just really like the cards, of course!).
Of this Marvel Snap tier list, Hela Discard and Death Knull are the best. Both provide strength throughout each match, as well as a high level of consistency and powerful mechanics. They're both decks you have to be careful with, however, as they focus on Discard and Destroy - two archetypes that can go very wrong with a bad turn or two.
Phoenix Move is also a very interesting deck and a contender for one of the best in the game. It focuses on a unique mechanic, Move, and allows you to be very flexible on the board. It's highly recommended if you're looking to have more options and really lean into the strategy side of the game.
Rank | Deck | Deck Type | Composition |
---|---|---|---|
S+ | Hela Discard | Discard |
|
S+ | Death Knull | Destroy |
|
S | Phoenix Move | Move |
|
S | Sera Surfer | Increase Power |
|
S | High Evo Skaar | Increase Power |
|
Moving onto A tier of the Marvel Snap tier list we have decks like Thanos Zoo, Shuri Sauron, and Deadpool. All of these decks are still strong and can secure you a ton of Cubes, but they are a little weaker than S tier. This is due to factors like a little less consistency or a slightly lower power level.
Rank | Deck | Deck Type | Composition |
---|---|---|---|
A+ | Thanos Zoo | Zoo |
|
A+ | Miek Discard | Discard |
|
A | Shuri Sauron | Ongoing, Increase Power |
|
A | Ultron Ongoing | Ongoing |
|
A | Deadpool | Destroy |
|
In this tier Thanos Zoo and Miek Discard are the standout decks. Thanos Zoo is a simple and very effective deck that focuses on swarming the board, while Miek is a great tool for early control and will ramp up as you discard your cards. Both are also quite straightforward to play - with Thanos, you just want to throw down a ton of cards, while the Miek deck focuses on empowering your Miek and making strong plays with Discard synergy.
At B Tier of the Marvel Snap tier list we have decks that start falling off. They're by no means bad, but at this tier there is a specific weakness for each deck. For example, Galactus Ramp can fall flat if you happen to find a terrible combination of cards, while at higher tiers, decks almost always stand a chance.
Rank | Deck | Deck Type | Composition |
---|---|---|---|
B+ | Doctor Doom Control | Control |
|
B | Shuri Nimrod | Destroy, Increase Power |
|
B | Mister Negative | On Reveal |
|
B- | Galactus Ramp | Ramp |
|
As mentioned, the decks here start becoming sub-par, however, they do start providing different playstyles. For example, Doctor Doom control is one of the only control decks on the list and allows you to focus on, well, controlling the game. Meanwhile Galactus Ramp is all about getting the big, powerful units out early.
Mister Negative is also a very interesting choice, with its focus being On Reveal card types. This allows for a lot of skill expression and mind games, being able to predict what your opponent will do and lure them into a powerful reveal effect, or just make them think twice about their card placement.
While the decks are weaker at this stage, they are more varied and provide differing strategies, so if you're looking for something new, these may be worth checking out!
Last but not least of the Marvel Snap tier list is C (and lower) tier. At this point, the decks are even less effective and have some glaring weaknesses, with the cards, generally, lacking overall power. However, these decks are easier to obtain and a good starting point for new players.
Rank | Deck | Deck Type | Composition |
---|---|---|---|
C | Thanos Ongoing | Ongoing |
|
D | Odin Reveal | On Reveal |
|
Again, these decks aren't super powerful, but they provide a good starting point. Odin Reveal especially is something new players can get an idea of the game with. Both decks here are also made up of different cards and provide different strategies than the ones higher up the list, providing something new to try.
That's that for our Marvel Snap tier list. These are all the best decks in the current meta, ranking from S to C tier. In general, you'll have an easier time winning with the decks higher up the list, although everything S and A tier is quite powerful. Below that you'll find decent decks with more weaknesses, and we've also included Odin Reveal as a budget deck if your collection is quite small. Best of luck out there!
