The update for season 3 of Rocket League Sideswipe has just arrived. Let's see what new features and changes the Psyonix team has made for this new season on mobile.
It must be said that Rocket League Sideswipe is constantly expanding its content as the weeks go by, such as the partnership with Fortnite that we told you about some time ago.
Check out the Season 3 trailer for the mobile port of Rocket League below.
The new features of season 3 of Rocket League Sideswipe
A new season means a new Rocket Pass. As always, it brings its share of new rewardsfree seasonal items to unlock by completing missions.
This season 3 of Rocket League Sideswipe also includes a new 3-person team mode called Trios. A new arena called Longfield and new vehicles join the game.
Other additions in season 3 include the arrival of the spectator mode and off-screen indicators to keep track of the position of other vehicles. The camera management allows for new settings to be adjusted. It offers the player the possibility to choose to centre the camera on the vehicle or to display the entire terrain.
Updates and bug fixes
In terms of updates, it is now possible to access the Pause menu during the end-of-match celebration, and thus restart the queue directly. The main menu now displays additional buttons for interaction with social networks and the air barrel can now be turned on or off.
Finally, some of the bugs encountered by players have been corrected:
Compatible with iOS controllers.
Added an option to lock the joystick in the static position.
Adjustment of main menu buttons and fonts to avoid overlap on some screens.
