Preview Patch 2.1 Wild Rift: 6 new champions

Riot Games has decided to shake things up on their mobile version of League of Legends. They've decided to roll out a big Wild Rift Patch 2.1 over the months of February and March. Based on the preview available on the official website, 6 new champions will be introduced in a staggered fashion. For those worried about the usual bug fixes and in-game balancing, rest assured. There will be mini-patches (2.1a, 2.1b and 2.c) that will complete the package. The community can thank the hard-working balancing team. They seem determined to keep their promise made during their 2021 roadmap: to release at least 2 new champions per month!

With all these changes, LoL: Wild Rift is starting to look good. It's only a matter of time before the esport competitions start to flourish. While we wait for the big tournaments, you can still sign up for our OUTPLAY CUP and community events.

Patch 2.1 Wild Rift: February releases

During the month of February, 3 new champions will be appearing on LoL: Wild Rift. They are the unhoped-for pairing of Vastayas Xayah and Rakan and the assassin Noxus, Katarina. The latter comes alone and without her sister Cassiopeia.

• Rakan: a support that likes to dance on the battlefield and has enormous mobility.
• Xayah: a shooter with a rather classic profile who pierces her enemies.
• Katarina Riot Games has warned that this champion will be specially adapted for the mobile version of League of Legends. She will be able to move during her ultimate skill and should be even more deadly.

March releases

In March, 3 new champions will join the ranks. Mount Targon will be honoured this time with 3 figures associated with the region: the rivals Leona (sun) and Diana (moon) as well as the Spartan Pantheon. All that's missing is Zoé and the family will be complete! For the occasion, the game offers an exclusive look at the fighter without his helmet!

• Leona A very tanky medium that likes to be at the heart of the fight.
• Diana: a mage-assassin who will chase you to the ends of the earth.
• Pantheon: a versatile warrior with a violent, hard-hitting gameplay.

In addition to the new characters, the Wild Rift 2.1 patch will introduce new skins, a spectator mode and the Lunar Beasts event!
