Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is getting very good sales figures, only two weeks after its release. A clear success, even surpassing that of Pokémon GO, a few years earlier (2016). Netmarble's mobile RPG seems to be doing well, let's see some figures about this new little gem. 😎
While Pokémon GO has earned approximately $590 million in revenue one year after its launch, a new title has joined the ranks of games that have become popular in a short time. Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds earned a cool $101.3 million between June 10 and 21. That's 11 days after its release on the Apple and Google shops. Ni No Kuni earned the title of the second most profitable game in this short period, just below Honor of Kings from Tencent. According to SensorTower's statistics, 90% of the game's revenue is generated in China. As a result, the MMORPG has become the most profitable mobile game in the rest of the world. These are sensational figures for Ni No Kuni Mobile, and they will certainly increase when it is released in the West.
This information is all the more improbable given that the title is only deployed in five territories (Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macao and Taiwan). It should be noted that the majority of Netmarble's revenue from this game comes from Japanese players. If we compare it to the giant Pokémon GO, Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds has earned just over $100m more in the same time frame. The title even surpasses the launch of Genshin Impact in 2020.
Open world RPGs are becoming increasingly popular on mobile devices. This is also the case for Battle Royale games, given the numbers for PUBG: NEW STATE.
