Mario Kart Tour: the most downloaded mobile game in September

With 86.2 million downloads, Mario Kart Tour was the most popular in the US and Brazil, with 15% and 12% of downloads, respectively. The title therefore topped the charts of the App Store and Google Play.

SayGames' Sand Balls, with 39.6 million downloads, came second in both rankings. India was responsible for 12% of the downloads, while 10% of installations came from Brazil.Fun Race 3D finished eighth and third in the Google Play and App Store top 10, although it ranked third overall. Tencent finished fourth with its popular battle royale PUBG Mobile. Garena Free Fire from Garena broke into the top five on the Play store, but did not appear on the App Store.

More than half of the entries in the App Store table were new, while the remaining three titles, PUBG Mobile, Fun Race 3D and Aquapark.io, were placed at the bottom of the list.

Finally, despite being ranked 8th overall, Gismart's Cool Goal has seen the strongest growth with an 85% increase in the number of monthly downloads, with the number of installations rising from 8.1 million in August to 15 million in September.
