Many of you are wondering if and when Call of Duty Warzone will be released on mobile. Given the boom in the mobile gaming market in recent years (reinforced by periods of containment), it's almost expected that all the big licences will eventually move on to mobile ports of their major titles. With CoD Mobile already on smartphones,Warzone's arrival on Android and iOS would be a logical next step. And, thanks to a leak from Tom Henderson, it looks like that could be on the cards.
A Warzone mobile release date of 2022 and a leak via PlaytestCloud
The mobile gaming industry and the game's fanbase have been whispering about a mobile release of Call of Duty: Warzone for some time now. First, we got wind of a leak about job offers related to the porting of Warzone to Android and iOS. Following these revelations, it was also confirmed that Solid State, an internal Activision studio, had been established to work on a future Call of Duty mobile game. While this does not exactly confirm a Warzone release, it does lend credence to the hypothesis.
And now Tom Henderson, someone who is usually quite knowledgeable, says that the game is on the PlaytestCloud database.
The PlaytestCloud is an online environment well known to mobile game publishers for their test phases. The fact that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was present there only reinforced suspicions. However, the platform later stated that the title was only listed in its database based on supposition and not on confirmed facts. Tom Henderson stands by his statement, with a screenshot to back it up, and maintains that his information is valid.
With 500 million players gathering on CoD Mobile in 2 years, it wouldn't be surprising to see Warzone follow its path to mobile in 2022 to build on this popularity. We'll keep you posted if we confirm this information!

Yaya would never have spent a single cent on a mobile game. At least, that's what the legend says.
