What is a mobile MOBA?

A MOBA, for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, is an online game in which two teams of players compete in an arena. The objective of each team is to destroy the opposing team's tower in order to win the game.

In any mobile MOBA, each player takes on the role of a hero with a specific role and location on the pitch, as well as unique skills. In reality, the MOBA is a sub-genre of strategy games (Dota, the very first game in the genre, was a mod on Warcraft III).
