Vector is an arcade game with a simple goal: to run. The principle is based on a parkour idea inspired by the famous "mirror edge" and is essentially a successful recipe based on basic gameplay.
Vector, what's the point?
The objective is simple: escape from your pursuer by avoiding obstacles and performing jumps and tricks. The game is divided into 4 chapters, themselves subdivided into several levels. In this test of Vector we will summarize the whole game.
Gameplay issues
The game itself is inspired by parkour but does not revolutionise the genre on mobile. It is easy to learn. The controls are done with one finger, so there is no need to learn specific moves and manipulate different combinations in order to complete a picture in its entirety.
However, you don't have access to all the moves, you'll have to unlock them as you progress.
You can buy them both via money earned during your progression and via an in-app purchase. We applaud the multitude of moves available making the execution of these bluffing.
Visual aspect
The game design itself is fluid. The graphics are simple but hit the spot. We appreciate the camera movements to indicate the imminence of a more tense point if we want to achieve a 100% success. A refined graphic design allows us to distinguish the two protagonists, both in black.
My opinion
All in all, this is a simple but very enjoyable game to play. It will make you have a good time. If you liked mirror's edge it should keep you busy for a while.
We regret the unevenness of the game as a whole, especially in some levels, which ultimately breaks the continuity of the game.
