Into the Dead is based on a simple premise: zombies are everywhere and you have to survive. What changes, however, is the way you go about it. Here, running will be your only option, and stopping or getting caught will be your death sentence.
Into the Dead, the logical reaction of the trapped man
After escaping unharmed from a helicopter crash, you're surrounded by zombies, and the only alternative seems to be escape. To do this, you have to kill the zombies, or use weapons to eliminate them. As for gameplay, there's nothing too complicated about it: all you have to do is tilt the screen to the left or right (note that other types of control are also available). There are various game modes, the first consisting of going as far as possible, the 2nd of eliminating as many zombies as possible, and another mode consisting of having only a torch, which means you'll have very limited visibility.
And the rest?
As for the rest, there's nothing really special - you'll be able to take advantage of bonuses via in-app purchases (which aren't necessary at all), and you'll be offered missions that allow you to obtain new weapons. There's also a daily connection bonus. The game is visually very pleasing, and the dark, ominous soundtrack makes for an immersive experience. You'll also be able to take advantage of bonuses at the start of each game in exchange for the currency you've collected during your adventures.
My Opinion
Into the Dead is an interesting and enjoyable game. The only downside is the repetitive nature of the game and the fact that there are no objectives other than getting as far as you can, allowing you to post your best scores online. Otherwise, the game remains enjoyable and will keep you busy for a while if you like trying to beat your best times. The best way to test it is to try it out.
