Wild Rift Worlds to arrive in late 2021

When it comes toesport, it's hard to miss Riot Games. On the PC, this giant can count on League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics to captivate crowds and unleash passions, Valorant and Teamfight Tactics to captivate crowds and unleash passions. Riot Games is gradually tackling the mobile game market and LoL: Wild Rift and is also looking to make a name for itself. This mobile MOBA takes the universe and codes of LoL and has competition in its DNA. While the game has had a soft launch in the West, Riot Games promised at the Mid-Season Invitational press conference that there would be Wild Rift Worlds as early as this year. For now, Southeast Asia is ahead of the game. But with such an announcement, the European and American structures might well be tempted to get fully into the race.

There is no official date yet for these first world championships. We only know that they will take place in the last quarter of 2021 and that there will be representatives from all regions.

Launch of the regional qualifying leagues for the Wild Rift Worlds

Riot Games knows its esport well and knows how to organise competitions. Unsurprisingly, the giant is going to take the League of Legends model and apply it to LoL: Wild Rift. Thus, we will soon see the launch of various regional leagues. For the moment, only the South East Asian region (Vietnam, Malaysia...) has opened its doors, but it should have competition very quickly. Regional competitions will flourish all over the world from this summer onwards.

Each region will have its own system to crown its champions and select its representatives... Since there will be, at the end of the year, the first World Wild Rift! It was an open secret and Riot Games always rhymes with world championships. However, we weren't sure it would happen so quickly and this is great news for fans of the game. If you have the level, keep tryinghard, a pro career may be waiting for you!

A future big game of mobileesport ?

Currently, Riot Games 's mobile MOBA is a very small player on the esport scene. But with Worlds Wild Rift, the game could well take its place among the top competitive games on the phone. In the long run, we imagine that it aims to take the place of Mobile Legends, its rival. On the other hand, Riot Games is not completely closing the door on community tournaments organised by a third party. However, the company wants to keep its colt in hand and theesport high level will inevitably pass through it.
