The global pandemic is not yet fully resolved, but life goes on. In these conditions, esport is trying to adapt as best it can. We now know the date for the fall segment of the Clash Royale League West: September 19!
The spring segment ended on 18 July with a clear victory for Spacestation Gaming. For security reasons, the entire competition was played online. It is quite possible that this will also be the case for the end of the season. The latter will be all the more important as it will award the tickets for the Worlds Finals which will take place in China at the beginning of December.
The Clash Royale League West teams (America and Europe) will have an unsurprising repeat. The 10 competitors from the spring will be back for the autumn segment. However, the exact schedule of the competition, the constitution of the rosters or the prize poolis not yet known.
Regardless of the results obtained in the first part of the season, the counters are reset for this new segment. The competition remains open and everyone has a chance. However, we will have to keep a close eye on the last two finalists who made a big impression: Spacestation Gaming (defending champion) and Misfit Gaming (runner-up).
As good Frenchmen, we will also follow the results of the Tribe Gaming team with attention. Although the structure is based in the United States, it includes Frenchman Jarod Emmanuel "Azilys" Quesada (who has also played for Millenium). In the last segment, they made a strong impression, finishing in first place in their group and narrowly losing in the semi-finals (2-3) to the future champions.
The resumption of the Clash Royale League West will not only be important for the regional title. The competition is also decisive in the race for the World Championships (5 and 6 December). The top 4 teams will get their ticket to Shanghai and will compete against the 4 best teams of the Eastern region (Asia).
In the East, the competition has already resumed. At the moment, the league is dominated by the Japanese Ponos (5-1) but the KIX Team of Frenchman Simonnel "iSlaw" Alban can also be ambitious after a positive start (3-2).
